Common questions
My scores disappeared.
Tether stores everything on your device only, with no account and no cloud sync. Deleting the app deletes your scores, and they cannot be recovered. Restoring a device from a backup restores them.
How do I reset my stats?
Settings → Reset Best. It clears your best score, run history, career totals and daily results, and it cannot be undone.
The daily run.
Everyone gets the same seed each day, and it changes at midnight UTC.
Is there any tracking or advertising?
No, neither. The only thing Tether ever sends anywhere is your score to a Game Center leaderboard, and only if you opt in by opening Flight Log → Global Board. See the privacy policy.
Accessibility
Settings includes Reduce Motion, which holds the background still and collapses transitions to plain fades, and High Contrast, which brightens the rings and lightens the vignette. Catch Rings can be turned off if you prefer to play without the radius guide.
